What a finale!!!

Well, well, well!!! What a finish it was to the Indian Open Golf Championship!!!

Muniappa won it in the playoffs with Lee. Lee had finished off with 12 under. Muniappa birdied the 16 to get to 13 under, but then bogeyed the 17 to fall back to level. A par on the 18th resulted in a play off with Lee.

 Both players landed into the left hand bunker on the fairway with their drive on the par 5 18th hole and had to lay up. Muniappa went first for the green, His ball seemed to hang in the air just a bit over the water, inviting grasps from the gallery, but fell safely on the green, within birdeable distance. If Muniappa's ball was close to the edge of the green near the water, Lee's was even more so, landing just a couple of yards in.. Lee missed his birdie, while Muniappa kept his nerve and rolled it in, much to the delight of the gallery!!!
